Cuidados e Dicas
  • How long does it take to grow?

Mint can take between 3 to 4 months before you can harvest the leaves.
Thyme may take between 4 to 6 months before it can be harvested.

  • Mint is a perennial plant, meaning it lasts for several years. After harvesting all the leaves, you should replace the soil and plant more seeds.
Thyme is an extremely resilient plant that adapts well to any type of soil and weather conditions. It is also a perennial plant, lasting several years; however, after harvesting all the leaves, you should replace the soil and plant more seeds.

  • Mint likes moist soil, but not soggy. Check the soil with your finger: if it feels dry, water close to the soil with about a coffee cup's worth. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow Block does not have a drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.
Thyme also prefers moist soil, but not soggy. Check the soil with your finger: if it feels dry, water close to the soil with about a coffee cup's worth. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow Block does not have a drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.

  • Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors. It is not necessary to transfer them to a pot; the Grow Block has enough space for both mint and thyme to grow.

  • Your plant is infested with whiteflies. To combat this, you can dissolve 1 teaspoon of soap flakes and add 5 drops of oil to half a liter of warm water, then place it in a spray bottle. Spray until the whiteflies are well covered. You can also use neem oil, which is a natural insect repellent.
