Instructions
- Remove the sticker.
- Spread the seeds and bury them slightly.
- Water or mist, keeping the substrate moist but not soaked.
- Place in a warm location with a few hours of direct sunlight each day.
- It may take 6 to 12 days to germinate and 3 to 4 months to harvest.
- When the substrate appears dry (check with your finger), add a little water.

- How long does it take to grow?
When sown during spring or summer, basil can take between 2 to 3 months before you can harvest the leaves. Basil should always be harvested from the top; as it grows, consistently remove the upper part of the plant, leaving some leaves below so it can continue to grow.
- Will it grow back?
Basil is an annual plant. After harvesting all the leaves, you should replace the soil and plant more seeds.
- How often should I water it?
Basil enjoys moist soil, but not soggy. Check the soil with your finger: if it feels dry, water it at the base with about a coffee cup's worth of water. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow Cube does not have a drainage hole, and if too much water accumulates at the bottom, it can harm the plant.
- Should I place it outside or transfer it to a pot?
Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors. You can transfer it to a pot or garden for faster growth.
- Are there whiteflies on the leaves?
Your plant is infested with whiteflies. To combat this, you can dissolve 1 teaspoon of soap flakes and add 5 drops of oil to half a liter of warm water, then place it in a spray bottle. Spray until the whiteflies are well covered. You can also use neem oil, which is a natural insect repellent.
