Cuidados e Dicas
  • How long does it take to grow?

Mint can take between 3 to 4 months before you can harvest the leaves.

  • Mint is a perennial plant, meaning it can last more than two years.

  • Mint enjoys moist soil, but not soggy. Check with your finger in the soil: if it feels dry, water near the soil with about a cup of coffee's worth. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Bottle Garden does not have a drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it could harm the plant.

  • Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors. It is not necessary to transfer it to a pot; the Bottle Garden has enough space for the mint to grow.

  • Your plant is infested with whiteflies. To combat this, you can dissolve 1 teaspoon of soap flakes and add 5 drops of oil in half a liter of warm water, then place it in a spray bottle. Spray until the whiteflies are well covered. You can also use neem oil, which is a natural insect repellent.
