Why Grow Cork?

Cork: 100% Portuguese, it is a natural, lightweight material that is water-resistant, renewable, and biodegradable. The bark of the cork oak, from which cork is harvested, regenerates every 7 years, eliminating the need to fell trees to produce this noble, sustainable, and distinctly Portuguese material.
Practical: A cork pot that serves as its own planter and can be reused. It contains everything you need, including instructions. Even for beginners, growing oregano is easy and accessible.
Versatile: Small, lightweight, and with a simple design, it is perfect for small spaces or for those living in apartments. It fits beautifully into any decor.
Sustainable and therapeutic: Handcrafted with eco-friendly materials that promote a greener and more conscious lifestyle. Caring for plants is a relaxing activity, ideal for reducing the stress of everyday life.

Cuidados e Dicas
  • How long does it take to grow?

Oregano can take between 4 to 6 months to be ready for harvest.

  • Oregano will sprout again, but over time it may weaken. After harvesting all the leaves, you should replace the soil and plant more seeds.

  • Oregano likes moist soil, but not soggy. Check with your finger in the soil: if it feels dry, water near the base with the equivalent of a coffee cup. In summer, more regular watering is needed. Remember that the Grow cork does not have a drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.

  • Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors. It is not necessary to transfer to a pot; the Grow cork has enough space for the oregano to grow.

  • Your plant is infested with whiteflies. To combat this, you can dissolve 1 teaspoon of soap flakes and add 5 drops of oil to half a liter of warm water, then place it in a spray bottle. Spray until the whiteflies are well covered. You can also use neem oil, which is a natural insect repellent.
