Instructions
- Open the Grow Bag and remove the contents except for the clay balls.
- Fill the bag with all the substrate.
- Spread 5 to 10 seeds and bury them slightly.
- Water or mist, keeping the substrate moist but not soaked.
- Place in a warm location with a few hours of direct sunlight each day.
- It may take 15 to 20 days to germinate and 6 to 8 months to harvest.
- When the substrate appears dry (check with your finger), add a little water.

- How long does it take to grow?
The malagueta or cayenne pepper can take between 10 to 15 days to germinate and 6 to 8 months to harvest.
- Will it grow again?
The malagueta is a perennial plant and can last for several years.
- How often should I water it?
The malagueta prefers moist soil, but not soggy. Check with your finger in the soil: if it feels dry, water close to the ground with the equivalent of a coffee cup. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow Bag does not have a drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.
- Should I place it outside or transfer it to a pot?
Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can be placed outdoors as well. There is no need to transfer to a pot; the Grow Bag has enough space for the malaguetas to grow.
